Project Information
Byahe is a real-time commuter companion designed to help commuters stay informed about public transportation conditions in the Philippines. The platform brings route status, nearby stops, recent commuter reports, and live alerts into a single interface.
The application provides status filters for active, delayed, and no-vehicle routes, allowing commuters to quickly identify potentially affected services. Users can also search for a route, code, or area and submit a quick status update to help keep other commuters informed.
What I've worked on
- Real-time route status. Built the route-status experience for quickly checking whether supported public transport routes are active, delayed, or have no vehicles.
- Nearby stops. Added a nearby-stops experience to help commuters discover relevant transportation options around their location.
- Commuter reporting. Implemented a quick reporting flow that allows users to search for a route, code, or area and submit its current status.
- Recent reports. Added a recent-reports view so commuters can see the latest updates submitted by other users.
- Live alerts. Added a dedicated area for important transport disruptions such as floods, reroutes, and breakdowns.
- Route filtering and discovery. Added filtering and route discovery features to make it easier to find relevant services without navigating through large amounts of information.
